Comic Master Comic Master can be used to create your own graphic novels, which are printable. The site requires a login to save, but it is free to use. It also includes resources for teachers.
Free, Legal Image Sites
An article that includes links to five sites that offer free, legal images to use in class projects, etc. Google images is great, but anything that is published online needs to be legal, so that you/your students don't get scolded for copyright infringement. If you are planning to do any web publishing, it's a good idea to consult these sites for images.
Teacher's First Classroom Resources
A searchable collection of web resources, lessons and ideas for integrating technology into the classroom. Also offers a free subscription, so they can email you new resource lists each week. Great for all subject areas.
Quest Garden
A searchable database of free webquests created and shared by other educators.
A site with breaking news, homework help, current events and other content that can be viewed on computers in the school. The content is not blocked by the DOE. Subscription is free.
